I decided to create my own blog in hopes of keeping my family and friends informed of my travels and adventures in Dublin, Ireland. I will be participating in a semester-long study abroad program at Dublin City University with approximately 40 other college students from Boston University and other colleges. I leave January 13th and return to the states May 1st. I'll be living on campus, in an apartment-style dorm with several other girls (whom I haven't met yet!). I'm really looking forward to traveling overseas for the first time, and can't wait to see what the semester holds!
The Day after Christmas...
Thanks to all of my family, I received some great gifts for next semester! Thanks to aunts, uncles, and cousins, I'm equipped with Ireland, England, and Western Europe travel books, which will definitely be helpful in the near future. New luggage was essential- thanks to my grandmother for surprising me with 2 huge suitcases! I'll only be taking the 2 suitcases and a backpack, which should make the packing process interesting for sure (I'm not exactly a light packer!). Let the packing begin!
